Job Overview 

The Head of the Financial Training Academy will lead the establishment and management of the academy. The individual will leverage extensive experience in financial services products to develop a cutting-edge curriculum, foster industry partnerships, and drive the academy's growth.


Main Responsibilities 


Strategic Vision: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Academy, aligning its objectives with overall business goals. Define the Academy's vision, mission, and strategic goals.

Launch & Operations: Create a detailed project timeline and budget for the Academy's launch and operations. Manage budget and resources efficiently to achieve educational and financial objectives.

Curriculum & Content: Design a comprehensive curriculum reflecting current industry practices and future trends in prop trading. Oversee the creation of courses, integrating practical simulations and real-world scenarios. Collaborate with experts to develop educational materials, including videos, e-books, webinars, and simulations. Maintain a consistent update cycle for educational content.

Partnerships & Reputation: Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to enhance offerings and reputation. Monitor and analyze financial market trends to keep programs competitive. Represent the Academy at industry events and collaborate with trading firms, technology providers, and financial institutions.

Operations & Quality: Establish policies, procedures, and quality standards for the Academy. Oversee day-to-day operations, developing and monitoring KPIs to measure success and impact. Drive continuous improvement of educational materials, teaching methods, and technological tools.

Marketing & Growth: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, focusing on digital channels, social media, and community engagement. Drive user acquisition and retention through targeted campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and partnerships. Track revenue streams and report financial performance to senior management. 

Team Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of educators, content creators, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment. Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team objectives are met.


Key Requirements 

  • Finance, Economics, Business, or relevant field.
  • 6+ years leading a training academy or related business, with proven success.
  • Relevant trading or financial analysis certifications (e.g., CFA, CMT) are a plus. 
  • In-depth knowledge of trading methodologies, strategies, risk management, and market analysis.
  • Proven experience in designing educational programs, preferably in financial or trading education.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent English; additional languages are a plus. 
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic visions aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in project management, including timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills for efficient operations and resource management.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of prop trading practices, trends, and future developments.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze financial market trends for competitive program development.
  • Ability to integrate innovative teaching techniques and technological tools. 
  • Strong network in the prop trading community and experience in building industry partnerships.
  • Ability to represent the academy at events (conferences, seminars, etc.).
  • Experience in designing and implementing marketing strategies. 
  • Ability to develop and monitor KPIs to measure success and impact.
  • Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and online learning platforms.
